Harvest Kids

Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.

- Matthew 19:14
The best way to reach a child is to tell a story.  Each weekend kids (babies to age 10 years) will experience the life-changing power of Jesus and His word through worship and story.  We are designing our kid environments with your child in mind to be safe, fun, and filled with age-appropriate learning tools.

Relationships
We aren’t meant to do life alone.  We find it important to help kids build friendships, so kids are grouped by age and grade.  As families commit to attending the same service each weekend, your kids will see familiar faces, and their relationships will grow.

The Weekend Experience

What to Expect

Check-In

At check-in, you’ll get printed a label for your children and a parent receipt. You can also indicate if your child has any allergies or special needs at check-in. You will need to show the parent receipt you were given at check-in to pick up your child/children at the end of the service as we go above and beyond to ensure the safety of each child.

Worship

We love to lift Jesus’ name high in worship and kids do this better than anyone. Kids learn both new and old songs, and hand motions to help them engage.  Children sing and engage in our live worship time according to their own personality. Some are more enthusiastic and move a lot whereas others are quieter and observe more. We believe God is glorified by each child as they worship Him in their own way and we love to see their joy as they do so.

Teaching

We strive to captivate the hearts and imaginations of kids by creatively telling them the stories of the greatest book ever written…the Bible.

Each week we open our Bibles and teach in a manner that children can understand. There are 3 different age groups to whom we teach – Infants (3 – 5 years) Younger Kids (6 – 8), and Older Kids (9 – 10). We believe strongly that children should never be bored with the Bible, and we make every effort to ensure that doesn’t happen.  We use discussions, activities and crafts to help kids connect and apply God’s word to their lives.

Small Groups

The children experience small group in an age appropriate format. Scripture memorization, prayer, and fun, intentional activities are included to promote personal application of large group teaching.  Classroom environments, materials, and activities have been designed in a way your child will understand.  Our desire is to make God’s word accessible to each age group.

Fun

Kids love fun, and when they’re having fun, they can’t wait to come back.
